Garry Bien Aime
President

Garry is a trusted member of the northeast Baltimore community and activist (Frankford Community). He worked as a Community Integration Specialist focusing on safety and security for our vulnerable population, refugees and Assylees. Recently served seven years as the President of Frankford Estates. Garry Bien Aime currently serves as an Energy Program Manager for the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA). He is also MEA’s delegate for American of Blacks in Energy (AABE) and the Minority Business Enterprise representative (MBE). Garry is a co-founder of a small real estate company in Baltimore.

Garry’s focus is to work fellow stakeholders and the board of directors to help further KAI’s mission. Areas of focus include fundraising, program delivery, volunteering, and development strategies that will ensure transparency throughout the association. He is a proud husband and father of five children.

Sophia Barilone

Sophia Barilone is a first-generation Haitian-American living and working in the Baltimore area.  Sophia is currently a criminal defense attorney with the Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore City.  Sophia's aim is to fully connect with the Haitian community in the greater Baltimore area and provide them with vital resources
